DESCRIPTION:Warriors Set Free is honored to have Russ Taylor come share his powerful testimony in November. \nFor 22 years\, Russ Taylor served in law enforcement\, spending 12 years as a full-time SWAT officer in Grand Rapids and five years hunting violent fugitives alongside the FBI. His career placed him on the front lines of some of life’s darkest moments—and over two decades\, those moments took a toll. \nRuss experienced the realities few outside the profession ever see. Friends were wounded and killed in the line of duty. Others attempted or died by suicide. Then\, during an operation\, a close friend was murdered in front of him. \nYears of chronic trauma eventually brought Russ to a very dark place. He searched for healing and tried the resources available to him\, but nothing brought the freedom he desperately needed. \nThen\, in 2021\, Russ encountered God. \nWhat began unexpectedly became the turning point in his life. Russ discovered what he describes as the difference between man healing man and God healing man. God met him in the darkness\, began renewing his mind\, and changed the direction of his life. \nToday\, Russ’s story is more than one of surviving a demanding career or overcoming trauma. It is a testimony of what can happen when a man who has spent much of his life running toward danger finally discovers the One who can reach him in the places no one else can. \nAt Warrior Wednesday\, Russ will share his journey from service and sacrifice\, through trauma and darkness\, to the healing\, hope\, and transformation he found in God. \nFREE!
